Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm is an offshore wind farm 32 km north of Cromer off the coast of Norfolk, in the North Sea, England.
The project included constructing the wind turbines and their foundations, building an offshore substation and an onshore substation at Necton, installing power cables both undersea and onshore, as well as connection to the UK National Grid.
SPT Offshore executed the design, fabrication and installation of the suction pile foundation for the Dudgeon Transformer Substation to support Sembmarine SLP being the main fabrication for this substation. The 4-leg jacket will support the topsides weighing approx. 1,850ton. It’s this forst suction pile founded in UK waters.
