SPT Offshore owns and operates 20 remotely controlled suction pumps for water depths from 10m up to 3,000m. These pumps are purposely built for the installation of single piles, suction pile clusters (SPCs), platform foundations or subsea structure foundations.

The SAPS-003 suction pump is powered by the hydraulic flow of a ROV or of a hydraulic hose from the vessel’s deck, pending on the water depth.

The SAPS-007 Suction Pump is designed for the installation of suction pile founded platforms.

The SAPS-007S suction pump unit is based on the existing SAPS-007 suction pump unit. The SAPS-007S suction pump units have increased pumping capacities (Pdiff: 6.8 bar, Flow: 500 m3/hr), for faster and more accurate installations of our suction piles and their foundations.

SPT Offshore operates an ultra deepwater high-volume suction pump unit (SAPS-008) for installing suction piles in water depths up to 3000m.
